My name is Swapna . Marathi is not just my Mother tongue, it is my “Life”.
I have learned in an incredible Marathi school in Mumbai, NGKG High School and I feel that is the best thing that has happened to me . The love for Marathi is grown since then.
Speaking flawlessly and smoothly in any language is a skill that wow’s everyone. We do not love language just for that though.
Lets remember when you were little and used go out for any party with your mother, who was clad beautifully for the occasion, appropriately groomed for that party, how did you liked her then? Much better than her usual self at home when she was working hard for house or for her work right? That’s because the ornaments made her look even more prettier than usual.
However does your love any less when she was at her regular self? No.. infant it was more when she is close to you . But at the party she is just amazing and you are so proud of her, even though she is just the same loving and caring as always.
I have similar feelings about my Marathi language. I like to speak Marathi at home, and office and also on stage program or in poetry recitation , where Marathi is clad In usual and heavy , flowery , fragrant and colourful words. And I take pride in being her child and call her – ” माय मराठी.”
याच प्रयत्नाचा एक भाग म्हणजे , मुलांनी रोज संस्कृत श्लोकांचे पठाण करावे म्हणजे उच्चार सुधारतील, सवय होईल आणि भाषेबद्दल प्रेम वाढीस लागेल.
शिवाय रोज देवाचे नाव घेऊन व्हावे ते आपसूकच होईल मंत्रांचा आणि पठणाचा आपल्या शरीराला, मनावर व त्यावर घडणाऱ्या संस्कारांवर खूप चांगला प्रभाव असतो. त्यात एक प्रकारची शक्ती आहे जी मंत्रोच्चार करणाऱ्यास एक कवच प्राप्त करून देते . या साऱ्या गोष्टी ध्यानात घेऊन आपण आपल्या मुलांकरता हा कोर्स सुरु करत आहोत.

About me : Hello, my name is Swapna. I love Marathi as it is my mother tongue. Although it is widely spoken it does not get respect it deserves.
I am on a mission to bring its glory back to people by removing the taboos related to the accents and pronunciations of the language and also to make it the Raaj Bhasha as it was before Brits ruled Bharat .
To do so, I have decided that I will teach the youth glorious Marathi literature. I will remember the Marathi articles, poetry , dramas with Adults by forming a Marathi loving community. I am sure to get support from thousands of people in this process , as I am not the only one who feels Marathi is their mother.
